"What are you doing?..."I'm putting this caterpillar in the shade so the sun won't dry it up and the birds won't eat it it"... "Well the make any difference! There are hundreds of caterpillars in the garden, you can't put them all in the shade! .. and as a butterfly lands nearby.  "Well, it made a difference to that one didn't it? 
A fully-dressed miniature bear just 3" tall, with glass eyes and accompanied by a butterfly and caterpillar, reminds us that no act of kindness, however small,  is ever wasted.
