Max Hermann's 100th Birthday
Four bears were introduced to celebrate the 100th birthday of Max Hermann on May 8th, 1999. A special bear was introduced each quarter. Max IV/99 is the fourth of the series and was introduced at the end of 1999. Remake bears are bears, which are orientated from old patterns, but are not like replica bears. Instead they are filled with new ideas and design elements.
