Totally Bears Artist Jennifer Laing Totally Handmade Auction bear Doing it by the Book made for The Teddy Bear in the Heartland 2000 Reunion. One of a kind piece made for the 2000 Reunion in the Heartland Both bears are hand stiched. The bear maker is making the wild cub pattern from the book using artist's favorite needle, thimble, scissors and pin cushion. The bear maker has hand painted crystal eyes, articulated fingers, painted face & paw details. The bear he is making also has similar hand painted details. The bear maker is working with a hard cover copy of Teddy Bear Art Signed by the artist. This set comes in a weat-
hered brown suitcase with latches. The larger dark mohair bear is 13" sitting and 18" Long and has a scissors tied around the neck and a needle with thread. The smaller tan fully jointed mohair bear is 9" tall.  There is a basket with polyfil and mushrooms and berries and a stuffing tool as well as a little walnut filled basket with pins and berries, two spools of thread and a Thimble. Also included is Jennifer Laing's Hardcover Book "Teddy Bear Art" How to Design and Make Great Teddy Bears, photos the artist took of the bears set up and a drawing of how to set them up. It also comes with it's one of a kind Certificate. A brochure from the Teddy Bear Reunion that this bear was auctioned at and the buyer ticket.
